Mateo 4 weeks old
Mateo helped cheer the Dolphins to a victory last Sunday.
We could not believe he was holding his bottle by himself.
This picture is so funny to me.Mateo had his 3 week check up. He now weighs 8 pounds 11 ounces and is 21 and a quarter inches long. He is growing rapidly. Now we just need to work on sleeping for longer stretches at a time, poor mommy is tired.

Mateo 3 weeks old

Mateo is doing well. I can't believe he is 3 weeks old now. He eats about every 2 hours so I don't get a lot of sleep. Last week we went to the doctor for a weight check since he had not gained enough weight the week before. He weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces so he had gained 13 ounces in a week! This was good news. Tomorrow we go to the doctor for his 3 week check up. I don't think I mentioned this before, but when we were in the hospital the doctor heard a heart murmur and they ran some tests. The cardiologist told us that all babies are born with a small hole in their heart and Mateo's was a bit bigger than usual. He said usually these things correct themselves and he would see us again in 5 weeks to reevaluate. Please pray that this has corrected itself.
Kaden has a stomach virus, she is vomiting and has diarrhea. This morning Mateo had diarrhea. I sure hope that not everyone in the house gets sick. I don't want two sick babies at the same time.

Kaden 11 months old
Kaden finally will drink from a sippy cup!
Eating Spaghetti for the first time. She loved it!
Kisses from Daddy
Look I have a Mohawk of curls!
I can not believe that in one month Kaden will be one. Time has gone by so fast. Kaden has made a lot of accomplishments in the last month. She now has 4 teeth on the top and 4 teeth on the bottom. She finally will use a sippy cup. She is talking / babbling all the time. She even babbles in sentences. The other day she asked a question, of course we had no idea what she was saying. She now says ooh, wow, bye bye, hello, moo (when she sees a picture of a cow), mama, dada, baby. She can stand on her own without holding on to anything for about 20 seconds. She is trying to walk but hasn't figured it out yet. She loves to read. Recently we started showing her Baby Einstein videos. She loves the world safari. It so cute she just talks to the video.

Mateo one week old
Look at those long legs.
We had Mateo's 10 day check up today. He weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces. He gained 5 ounces in 5 days but our doctor said he should be back to his birth weight by now. So we will be sure to wake him up every 2 hours to eat so he can gain some more weight. We go back in a week for another weight check. What can I say our little man likes to sleep.

Mateo Hadley Biamby is here!
Mateo Hadley Biamby was born on October 16th at 8:53pm. He weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 19 inches long.
I was induced at 11am on October 16th. Mateo was a breech baby until week 36 and apparently he did not completely turn and he was considered oblique (which means he was at an angle and was more to the side). We went ahead with labor hoping that he would center himself. At 1pm my doctor broke my water and I took an epidural. Throughout my labor Mateo's heart beat would drop occasionally during the contractions, which meant he wasn't handling the contractions very well. At 7pm I had not made any progress since 1pm and Mateo had not centered himself so we had to change birth plans and have a c-section. After having experienced both delivery methods, I can not understand why anyone chooses to have a c-section (sorry if I offended anyone). I had a reaction to the anesthesia and could not stop shaking through the entire procedure and through most of the recovery. The gas pain is just about unbearable after the surgery and it is hard to do just about anything. But the important thing is that we are both safe and healthy.
We got home on Sunday afternoon and we are doing well. I will post more later.

Baby Update
I went to the doctor this morning and he sent me once again to the hospital to run the same tests again. They once again came back fine. So we picked a date to induce labor. We will be going back to the hospital on Thursday, October 16th at 7am to induce labor. This works out perfect for us since my mom will be here on Wednesday evening. I was in labor with Kaden for 10 hours (her labor was induced as well) so we are hoping for it to be about the same time or shorter!
In other news this weekend we had a very nice baby shower. I will post pictures later. Kaden has been sick with a cold and she has more teeth coming in! I can't believe it. It looks like it could be 3 more coming at once.

Update on Hadley
Well I have had quite a week and it is only Wednesday. Yesterday I went to the doctor and he thought my blood pressure was too high so he sent me to the hospital for blood work and a NST (non-stress test). Everything looked good and my blood pressure was fine so I got to go home 5 hours after I got to the hospital. The baby is fine and he decided to turn around so he is no longer breech! My doctor wants to induce labor on Monday but I asked if we could wait till Thursday when my mom will be here. This all depends on my blood pressure so please pray that the doctor likes what he sees on Monday.
Yesterday I started having a toothache and today it was so bad that I had to go to the dentist. My wisdom tooth is infected (this happened to me at the beginning of the pregnancy) so I am on antibotics and can't wait to be pain free. I have to have my wisdom teeth pulled, which I knew, but my doctor did not want me to do this while I was pregnant. I almsot made it through the pregnancy without any more problems.
10 months old
It is hard to believe that Kaden is 10 months old now. She is becoming quite the little girl. She wants to walk so bad and we are working on this with her. Words Kaden can say: wow, oh oh, dada, mama, baby
She now waves bye bye (she did this earlier and then decided she didn't want to do it anymore) and she claps her hands.
Kaden is growing so fast it is amazing. Soon she will have her baby brother to play with.
