We had mulch down before which they removed to lay down the pavers.

The kids love being able to run around and play now.
The backyard is finally completed! It took a while but the end result was well worth it. This weekend we went out and enjoyed watching the kids play in their new backyard.

it is great!! did you guys think of doing the brick like that yourselves? i love it. it looks kind of glossy too! it was like watching my own little mini HG TV show (since we don't have cable).
