Bath Time

Kaden loves bath time! She loves to play with her rubber duckies. She especially loves when I get the shower head down.

Standing

Kaden now loves to stand in her crib. This was taken this morning at day care.

8 months old

Kaden is now 8 months old. It is hard to believe. She now does the following:

Kaden can sit up from lying down

She can pull up to a standing position

She can walk when holding on to our hands!

She is crawling fowards now!

She talks more and more.

She holds imaginary conversations with herself.

She has almost grown out of her 12 month clothes.

I have a few videos I want to upload. I don't know how to do it yet. As soon as I figure it out they will be up. Kaden is growing so fast and is so active now!

Misc Pictures

We had a baby shower at work for Luly and Jean Max (they are expecting a baby boy on August 26). Kaden attended and wore this special outfit that Granddaddy gave her.
Kaden loves to look at her book of pictures. It is so cute, she talks to the book like she is having a conversation.

Now Kaden can stand up alone. She can almost pull herself to standing as well.

Then and Now

This is Kaden before at 3 weeks old.

This is Kaden now at almost 8 months old. She has grown so much. We also had to put the bouncy seat up. Kaden was leaning out of it to the point where she was about to flip the seat over. We decided it was time to put it up. My baby is growing so fast.

Wake Up Call and Pregnancy Update

This weekend I had a big wake up call. Kaden has just started wearing size 12 months clothes. She only wore 9 month clothes for a month or a month and a half. When I went to buy some 12 month clothes she has moved up a section. This just reminded me how fast she is growing.

Her hair is curling now. Her hair on top of her head is curly. This weekend the curls were just standing up on her head, it looked so funny. I am going to try and get a picture of this.

Pregnancy Update:
I realized I don't talk much about this pregnancy. I feel bad for the poor little girl but we have not forgotten her! I am 25 weeks pregnant now and just went to the doctor. I had a great check up!

Weight Gain so far this pregnancy: 3 pounds: excellent!

Blood pressure: excellent!

Protein in urine: NONE: excellent!

Swelling: NONE: excellent!

I have been worried that my blood pressure was going to get high like it did with Kaden. But so far so good. We just keep praying that it will stay in check.

Other than feeling tired and that how am I going to make it 3 more months (especially in this heat), I am doing good. I miss being able to nap when I want too like I could when I was pregnant with Kaden. It is very different to be pregnant with a little one at home.

New Pics

Kaden is doing very well moving and crawling around now.
We went to our friends baby shower last Saturday and Kaden just couldn't make it the entire time before she fell asleep.

Kaden is still just crawling backwards. She can get up on all fours and rock. Also yesterday her teacher told me she is trying to pull herself to stand now!

Kaden always wants to eat what Mommy and Daddy are eating. Yesterday she helped herself to Daddy's plum.

7 Months Old

It was very nice to be able to go to the beach, relax, and hang out with family. My mom, dad, and sister came to meet us at the beach. It had been since February that they had seen Kaden. It was nice to have all of the extra hands. At first it felt weird to have so much help, but I got used to it really fast. The last part of our trip was not to enjoyable for me. I got very sick and had to go to the hospital. I was throwing up and couldn't stop nor could I keep anything down. Since I'm pregnant we didn't mess around. I went and got some medicine and fluids to rehydrate me. Whatever I had lasted in some form or another for almost 5 days. I am very glad to be feeling better. These pictures are just a start. We have so many good pictures, I am having a hard time choosing which ones to post. There will be more to come soon!

Stephanie, Gilbert, and Kaden

We had a fantastic time and Stephanie and Hart's wedding. I was Stephanie's Matron of Honor. The wedding was beautiful and everyone had a great time.

We drove through the night on Thursday to arrive in Wilmington, NC Friday morning for the wedding. Driving through the night was harder than I thought. Kaden did wonderful but Gilbert and I were very tired. Poor Gilbert and just gotten in from Washington D.C. at 3 in the morning on Thursday from work.

BABY #2 IS A......

Yesterday I had an ultrasound to find out what sex this baby is. First of all the baby is healthy and doing well and so am I. It is hard to believe that I am already 19 weeks pregnant. This pregnancy is going by so fast. I guess it is because I have so much to do.

Anyways BABY #2 IS A GIRL!

This will be very easy for us. I have all of Kaden's clothes and some that weren't even worn. We are very excited to welcome another girl into our family. Now the name search begins because we only had a boy name in mind. Wish us luck.

We are getting ready for our first family vacation. My best friend, Steph, is getting married on Saturday and I am in the wedding. After that we will be joining my family at the beach for a week. We are all very excited.

6 month checkup

Yesterday Kaden had her 6 month checkup. Her doctor said she is a big healthy baby. I can not believe she is 6 months now. Time is going by so fast and she is growing so fast.

Her stats are:

Weight: 18 pounds 12 ounces

Height: 27 inches

Kaden can now do the following:

Roll over to her stomach and back to her back again

She has 2 teeth

Sits Up

Talks a lot

Loves to jump up and down in her exersaucer

Loves to pet the dogs

Loves to put her feet in her mouth

Love to swing

Loves when I blow bubbles for her
